The Bathroom Renovation

When my partner and I bought our house we knew that the bathroom *had* to go. It was cheap looking, cold, had no ventilation and an enormous bath that was completely unnecessary!

Now lets get this straight - I am pretty handy with a hammer, but renovating a whole bathroom is a whole 'nother ball game. My skills definitely fall more into the design side of the job, and really felt like the hard work was best left to the professionals!

That said, the design of the bathroom in our 100 year old cottage was such a fun project to undertake! It was fun to put together a look that was modern and interesting but didn't look ridiculously out of place in an old house.

Now that it's done I couldn't be happier - it is night and day compared to what it was and now it is an absolute pleasure to use!
